Namaste - Misericordia University Alumna Showcases her Mantra in Uganda

Misericordia University alumna, Donna Castelblanco ’14, is spreading positive vibes in Uganda.
Donna and Dr. Cheryl Fuller, former nursing professor, are spending time in the East-African state to co-teach an introduction to research course for nursing students.
To Donna’s surprise, she also had the opportunity to teach her class yoga. In her blog, “Her Journey,” she expressed how surprised, yet excited, she was to be bringing the mantra to the classroom in her latest post, “To Teach is to Learn Twice.”
“. . .1 hour to prepare. 1 hour!! I sorta kinda knew I’d teach yoga/I was hoping I’d teach yoga but I didn’t when, to what students, where the class would take place, etc. The only thing I knew was that I’d have to teach without yoga mats. No yoga mats, no problem!”
To her result, her students loved the experience.
